Happy Father's Day to each of the fathers out there :) Although this is Ronnie's first official Father's Day, Ethan was conceived just a few days before Father's Day last year. I just knew it was "THE MONTH" and gave Ronnie a card last year anyways! Ethan was only a few cells "large" then. In celebration of Ronnie, we went and picked him up from "The Screepo" for his lunch and grabbed a bite to eat. Ethan was sporting a little red, white, and blue onesie that says "Daddy's First Mate" with a sailboat and matching pants. He still isn't fitting into his pants yet, but his legs are finally getting some meat on them....not to mention, the beginning of a double-chin!
Over the past few days we have been painting the dining room and kitchen in an attempt to get the house finished and ready to rent when we move here the end of July. We went with "antique white" (actually kind of khaki colored) in an attempt not to be so boring. The trim, however, will be bright white to give everything a crisp look. There is so much we want to do around here, but very little time and even less money to do it with!
I am starting to get a little nervous about doing rotations out in CA. Kirksville is my comfort zone right now, so I guess it will be good to break away and get used to other places. Not to mention I feel as though some of my experiences/rotations will be better served in larger cities to get a bit more variety. Anyone have any words of wisdom or comfort for this nervous doctor-to-be? I think I am even more nervous for my friends that are starting residency/internship next month! YIKES!
Better run, the "wee one" has awoken and will be ready to eat....

So so so excited to see you guys when you are out here! I know it's going to be new and semi-scary, but at least you'll have family around. Please let us know how we can help make your transition smoother! We love you guys. Bronson & Megan
